Chad McKinley
30+ Years Building Champions
Chad McKinley has been shaping athletes and transforming lives for more than three decades. His path began in the late 1980s at the legendary George Turner’s Gym, where he learned old-school standards that still anchor his coaching today.
A two-time U.S. Army Aviation veteran and SERE grad, Chad served as a Battalion Master Fitness Leader, designing combat-ready conditioning for large units. He holds a Level 3 designation in the MAC-P military fighting system, blending tactical strength with real-world effectiveness.
Academically, Chad holds credentials from the University of Oregon, University of Missouri, University of Colorado, and Penn/Wharton, with studies focused on international finance and sports kinesiology. He went on to build an elite business career in real estate development, hedge fund management, and financial planning—holding senior roles with Smith Barney, WB McKee, and Ameriprise Financial, and collaborating with firms such as Goldman Sachs and Red Model Agency.
For the last 12 years, Chad has devoted himself exclusively to coaching athletes, fitness models, pro fighters, and performers, working inside some of the most respected gyms in the world:
-
Gold’s Gym – Summerlin (Mecca II) — home of Mr. Olympia and friend Jay Cutler
-
Throwdown / Syndicate MMA – Las Vegas — base for dozens of UFC standouts
-
Tapout Training Center — coaching alongside Kevin “The Monster” Randleman and Shawn Tompkins
